I loved it. The mythology made Sarah's story even more interesting, although sometimes it insults her intelligence. Mr. Rambo's pamphlet in the gift shop dispels some of people's misconceptions. The stairs to the ceiling, I read on another website, were built to go to the (original?) barn connected to the house. After the earthquake's damage, there was no longer something to connect. A beautiful stained glass window with a wall causing no light to come through probably caused by Sarah's desire to expand the house out not up. The 7 story house was down mostly to 4 storys after the quake. I don't believe in the paranormal and sensed nothing like that. The stained glass, the multi wooded floors, the furniture (reproductions of antiques or antiques bought elsewhere, long after Sarah's death?) is beautiful. I took the complete tour a few years ago.
